1.1     The Chair welcomed Members. Apologies were received from Julie Morgan AM, there was no substitute.

2       Cabinet Secretary for Education and Minister for Lifelong Learning and Welsh Language - Scrutiny Session

2.1 The Committee scrutinised the Cabinet Secretary for Education and the Minister for Lifelong Learning and Welsh Language. They agreed to provide the following:

·         The calculations underpinning the additional £10m that would be made available to HEFCW following the Statement of 18 October on Student Finance;

·         A note of the views of Universities on the Welsh Baccalaureate.

3.1 The Committee scrutinised the Commissioner on her Annual Report.

3.2 The Commissioner agreed to provide a note detailing examples of  Child Rights Impact Assessments that have led to positive change.
